The Open University of Malaysia (OUM) was established by a consortium of 11 public universities to provide open learning to Malaysians. It supports the national agenda of ensuring education excellence and the liberalisation of education. At the same time, it has harnessed some innovative technologies and measures to ensure that it provides students with the best education possible. Prof. Tan Sri Datuk Dr. Anuwar Ali, the Vice Chancellor of OUM, shared the vision and mission of OUM with Technology Business Review, as well as their plans for success.
